College/University Museum Visits

Please note: Due to the ongoing spread of COVID-19, in-person educational programs are currently paused. Please check our COVID-19 Updates page for the latest updates.

Enrich your students’ academic experience with a visit to the Museum of Man.

Find the program option that works for you:

Self-Guided Tour ($7 per student)
This option allows you and your group to tour the Museum at your leisure. Plan for a 60- to 90-minute visit.

Guided Tour ($8 per person)
Gallery educators facilitate conversations through an exhibition using artifacts as teaching tools. Guided tours last 60 to 90 minutes depending on the program. We now offer 90-minute guided tours of Maya: Heart of Sky, Heart of Earth for adult groups.

Workshop ($15.25 per person)
Workshops are available as an add-on to guided tours of Race: Are We So Different? This includes the guided tour and a 30-45 minute workshop expanding on themes of the tour.

Academic Passes ($15 per student)
Will you need more access to the Museum’s resources than described above? A research pass allows each student to visit the Museum on multiple occasions to conduct research, complete projects, and spend extended amounts of time in our galleries.

Please note: In order to qualify for a group rate, all education programs must be paid for in a single transaction. Students are not permitted to make individual payments once they arrive at the Museum. One payment must be made for the group. If students are running late, prepayment may be made for them; any additional participants arriving late that have not been accounted for will be asked to pay the general admission rate.
