In Loving Memory of Larry Baza

A message from our CEO, Micah Parzen:

“On behalf of the entire Museum of Us community, we are heartbroken by the loss of our dear friend and trustee, Larry Baza. Larry was a dedicated servant-leader and a shining example of humanity at its best. Generous, kind and gentle, but fierce, he was a passionate advocate for the arts, a catalyst for Latinx and LGBTQ+ civil rights, and—at his core—a decolonizer! Larry’s beautiful being and extraordinarily well-lived life will be missed, but we know his spirit will live on in our work and through our love for him. Thank you, Larry, for everything. You made, and will continue to make, us all better.”
