On a dark green background, orange text reads "Yoga in the Rotunda at the Museum of Us" and "Move with Us" next to a white silhouette figure in a yoga pose.

Candlelight Yoga in the Rotunda

Join us on Wednesday evenings for a restorative yoga session at the Museum of Us! All are welcome, regardless of physical ability, experience, or age. Classes are held in the Museum rotunda by yoga instructor, Lunita Velásquez. The evening classes promote relaxation and restoration by strengthening the mind-body connection with deep stretching, breathwork, and a welcoming space.

Please bring a yoga mat and accessories if you have them. A limited number of yoga mats, blankets, and blocks are available to borrow.

Dressing in layers is highly recommended. The Museum is not temperature-controlled, and the temperature fluctuates throughout the day.

Parking

Please plan ample time to park and walk to the Museum. Balboa Park parking lots are free-of-charge, and walking distances are approximately 5-15 minutes depending on location. Doors open at 5:15.

Arrival and Check-in

Museum doors open at 5:15 p.m. and class begins promptly at 5:30 p.m. Once class begins, the main entrance will close to ensure a quiet space for class.
