The Museum is open Wednesday-Sunday, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Join us on Wednesday evenings for a restorative yoga session at the Museum of Us! All are welcome, regardless of physical ability, experience, or age. Classes are held in the Museum rotunda by yoga instructor, Lunita Velásquez. The evening classes promote relaxation and restoration by strengthening the mind-body connection with deep stretching, breathwork, and a welcoming space.
Please bring your favorite yoga mat and accessories, and dress in layers. The Museum is not temperature-controlled, and the temperature fluctuates throughout the day. A limited number of yoga mats, blankets, and blocks are available to borrow.
Class begins promptly at 5:30 p.m. Please plan ample time to park and walk to the Museum. Balboa Park parking lots are free-of-charge, and walking distances are approximately 5-15 minutes depending on location. Doors open at 5:15 p.m. When class begins at 5:30 p.m., the entrance will change to the west door nearest the Cabrillo Bridge (visible from the entrance steps). To maintain a quiet, enjoyable experience for all guests, no entry after doors close at 5:40 p.m.
People under 18 years-old must be accompanied by an adult.
Please contact publicprograms@museumofus.org with any questions.
