We all make quick judgments, often without realizing it. These reactions can come from past experiences, media, or what we’ve learned from others.

Try a short activity to explore unconscious bias. You can choose the topic and take a bias test anonymously. Your answers are not saved by the Museum. This is not a pass-or-fail test, but a tool to notice hidden patterns in thinking and reflect on where they come from.

Try an Implicit Bias Test:

Please Note
Project Implicit is an ongoing anonymous research project begun in 1998 by psychologists at Harvard University, the University of Virginia, and the University of Washington to study how unconscious bias forms and changes over time.

The youth version is a learning tool inspired by this research, designed only for reflection and education.
